Control of the stressstrain state inside reinforced concrete structures

Abstract. In the present paper, the methods for registering internal deformations in reinforced concrete elements and the results of experiments of their use in the examination and testing of real structures are considered. It is shown that for the analysis of the stressstrain state in the concrete body and on the surface of reinforcing bars, it is possible to use standard surface strain gages, adapted to the specific conditions of their use. In this case, the results provide a high degree of reliability.
