Abstract. Concrete is a strong and relatively cheap building material. Concretes of various types are used for the manufacture of a wide range of building materials, products and structures. Concrete and reinforced concrete structures are often subject to cracking, which leads to deterioration and a reduction in the expected life of their operation. The appearance of cracks and destruction is an inevitable phenomenon of loads in the aging process of concrete structures under the influence of weather changes. This cracking promotes easy penetration of the aggressive medium to the valve and the appearance of corrosion. Very often, the repair of structures is carried out in the conditions of impossibility of closing the enterprise or it harms people. In order to extend the life of structures and thus reduce maintenance costs, it is essential to minimize the spread of cracks in the concrete. There is a pressing economic incentive to develop concrete that can repair and repair damage on its own. It is necessary to develop new ecofriendly methods of selfrestoration in order to increase the durability of already designed buildings and those that are yet to be built.
