The estimation of quality characteristics of crashed concrete for its application in concrete technology

Abstract. In recent decades there is much attention was paid to the use of energysafe technologies for various industries. The article presents the research of the comparative analysis of crashed concrete products and their accordance to necessary requirements of standards. Recycled concrete aggregate (RCA) and waste of crashed concrete aggregate produced by crushing can be used for manufacturing the concrete. The properties of crushed concrete coarse aggregate was carried out on fraction 520 mm and waste of recycled concrete aggregates fraction less than 5 mm was evaluated. Physical and mechanical characteristics of crashed coarse concrete aggregate are obtained. The size modulus, true density and chemical composition of waste of crashed concrete aggregate are determined.
