Abstract. The article analyzes the application of the volumetric block superstructure in modern conditions. The importance of volumetric block construction in the Soviet time is denoted. The main features of the technology of volumetric block production are considered. The difficulties encountered in the molding of blocks are reflected. Positive and negative aspects of using the superstructure method from volumetric blocks are presented. A conclusion about the relevance of the technology is made.
