Abstract. This article contains information about the application of platestem structure in construction of singlegirder bridge transitions and their calculation by limiting states.
Platestem reinforced concrete structures consist of plate elements which are working in bending. There are two types of such structures. One of them has all elements of the plate configuration; another one, besides, has linear stem elements which are working in tension. These structures could be highly economically effective because of exchange of complicated tension force effect to their elements to simpler force effect.
